Refund policy

Every song is made for one person, so we can’t resell it. Here is exactly when you get money back.

Full refund

• Standard: you change your mind before we send your lyrics preview.
• Express: you change your mind within 1 hour of paying. We start right away, so after that the work is underway.
• We can’t make your song, or we don’t deliver it at all.
• You were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount.

If we’re late

You only pay for the speed we actually delivered.

• Express ($69) arrives after its 12 hours: we refund the $30 difference to Standard.
• Standard ($39) arrives more than 24 hours late: you can choose a full refund and keep the song.

Time you spend on the lyrics preview, and changes you ask for, don’t count against us.

After the work has started

Once we’ve written your lyrics, we don’t refund a change of mind. Instead, we make it right: Standard orders can change the lyrics before the song is made, and every order gets one free revision after delivery.

If the song still has a mistake we made (a wrong name, a fact that doesn’t match your interview) after that revision, we fix it again or refund you in full.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the email you ordered with. We answer within 1 business day. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Creem, our payment processor, and usually show up in 5 to 10 business days.

Please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank. It’s faster for you, and we’ll sort it out.
